Recent Life Lessons Learned

Preschool children listen to puppets better than teachers. Who am I kidding…I listen to puppets better than people.

“Sweet Home Alabama” Rocks…again.

Teaching hinges more on politics than what’s best for children, and I hate politics.

All families are dysfunctional in one way or another…it’s called being human.

There is no easy way to watch your oldest child leave for college…

Gatorade replaces electrolytes lost via excess crying, although nachos are more emotionally satisfying.

The phrase “life goes on” has no comfort value whatsoever.

Learning to express feelings reduces the possibility of dreams re: multiple teeth cracking and falling out.

Leaving for work a few minutes late is clearly cause for stop lights en route to turn red upon approach.

Life is a balance of ups and downs...although...sometimes downs tip the scale beyond any reasonable person's comfort zone.

..................truly, I am a reasonable person.

Fritos makes a thicker chip, but Tostitos make very satisfying nachos....

I'll be back--I promise :)
